Arkebe Oqubay, Ph.D., is a Senior Minister and Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, has been at the focal point of strategy making for more than a quarter-century.
He as of now fills in as Chair of a few driving public associations and worldwide warning sheets, and he is a beneficiary of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star, introduced by the Emperor of Japan. He is the previous Mayor of Addis Ababa and champ of the Best African Mayor of 2006 honor introduced by ABN and was a finalist World Mayor Award 2006 for changing the city.
Dr. Arkebe is an examination partner at the Center of African Studies, University of London, and holds a Ph.D. being developed examinations from SOAS, University of London. His ongoing distributed works include: Made in Africa (Oxford University Press 2015).
